An update for residents on Lower Falinge

Over the weekend, residents have expressed their concern to us about a misleading leaflet that is currently being circulated in the College Bank and Lower Falinge neighbourhoods, entitled ‘Justice for Lower Falinge’.

The leaflet contains numerous inaccuracies and we are very concerned about the effect this misinformation will have on residents and their wellbeing.

Please be assured that:

  • RBH have made a promise that we will support all residents who need to move with their rehousing to a like-for-like home.
  • RBH have made a promise that anyone who needs to move and wishes to stay within the town centre area will be able to do so – this includes the new homes we have built and will build in future.
  • Everyone who needs to move will receive relocation costs and compensation.

We continue to welcome constructive feedback on our proposals for College Bank and Lower Falinge. However, we will never hesitate to challenge any information in the public domain that is misleading or untrue.

If you have any questions or concerns about our proposals, we urge you to get in touch with Syed Hussain or Michelle Kelly for accurate and up-to-date information.

You can contact Syed or Michelle by emailing towncentre.regen@rbh.org.uk or by calling our freephone number: 0800 027 7769 (using option 6). Further information is also available via our website: www.collegebankandlowerfalinge.org.uk.
